Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an increase of rotary angle for a vane substantially to 260°, by such a constitution that seal materials equipped to vanes are isolated into two branches so as to hold a shaft at the base part of the vane.
CONSTITUTION: To a sector hollow part 2 of a base body 1, a rotor 3, which is constructed by fitting a base part 11 of a vane 10 to a rotary shaft 9, is rotatably engaged. To the rotor 3 though annular seal materials 12, 13 are equipped, said seal materials 12, 13 surround peripheral edges at the end of the vane 10 and are isolated into two branches in such a manner as to hold the shaft 9 at both end surfaces of the base part 11 of the vane 10 further mounted by engaging said seal materials to grooves 14 formed so as to pass a cylindrical surface in parallel to the shaft. In this way, when the vane 10 is approximated to both extreme ends of the sector hollow part 2, one of the two branched seal materials 12 or 13 and the surrounding portion for the end of the vane 10 are slidably contacted to the inner surface of the hollow part 2 to perform a sealing work.
