Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform exactly the control of reactions by using a means of controlling the transmission path of projection light to introduce light into a reactor, the transmission path of image information, and the conditions of reactions.
CONSTITUTION: The illumination light from an external light source 2 is introduced through a light-guiding fiber 3 into a spray dryer 1 to illuminate the spray gun 11 and a slurry corn portion to be injected. The image of the slurry corn portion being illuminated is focused through a focusing lens 12 on the end face 4a of an image- guiding light fiber 4 capable of direct transmission. The transmitted image is picked up by an image sensor 13 at one output end and then put in a computer, where the image is processed and an opening angle information is extracted. Afterward, the information is sent to a diaphragm valve 8 by which injection pressure from a 11 is changed to control the opening angle. Thereby, exact control of reactions can be performed by said image confirmation manner.
