Abstract

PURPOSE: To cut a pipe of soft resin at a desired width and in high accuracy by a method wherein a member attracting and fixing the pipe of soft resin is rotated and a cutter member provided with a plurality of cutters with a desired interval is pressed thereagainst.
CONSTITUTION: A soft resin pipe 10 is inserted onto a member 20 and is positioned by a fixing member 21, thereafter, is sucked and fixed to the member 20 through holes 26. Then, the member 20 is rotated into a direction C while a cutter member 14, arranged with a plurality of cutters 13 with desired distances which are vertical to an axial direction of the member 20, is moved toward a direction D being rotated into a direction E to cut the soft resin pipe 10 into a plurality of pieces. Thereby, the soft pipe can be cut with a desired width in high accuracy.
