Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned vessel which has an inherent property of polyester and a decorative aspect by a method wherein premoldings where ethylene terephthalic copolymer polyester is mixed with a specified theremoplastic copolymer are stretch-blow molded. CONSTITUTION:The premoldings composed of (A) copolymer polyester 80- 97wt% with an inherent viscosity [eta] 0.6 or more and an ethylene terephthalic unit 70-97mol% and (B) thermoplastic copolymer (examples; polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.) 20-3wt% where a difference in refractive index from the component A is 0.03 or more, are stretch-blow molded so that the component B disperses in mean particle diameters 1-10mu in the matrix of the component A and crystalizing peak temperatures are 180 deg.C or more in the central layer of the maximum thickness portion meansured by a differential scanning calorimeter. Further, the thickness (tmm.) in the barrel portion of the said premoldings prefer satisfying the formula where X shows the mol% of the copolymer component of the component A.
