Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of noise, by connecting a negative impedance between the input terminals to which a signal source is connected. CONSTITUTION:For a negative impedance circuit 4, the nonreverse and reverse inputs of an operational amplifier 5 are connected to the output terminal (b) and the output terminal (b') via a resistance RX respectively. The output of the amplifier 5 is fed back to the nonreverse and reverse inputs via feedback resistances R3 and R4 having an equal resistance value. The circuit 4 functions as a whole as a negative impedance -RX. In this case, to increase the dynamic range, the value is advantageously reduced for both the resistances R3 and R4. In such constitution, only the signal source impedance RS is put into the signal route as a noise source. As a result, the S/N can be improved.
