Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out the cultivation and subculture of an anaerobic microorganism by a simple operation, by equipping both a container with its port closed by a hermetic pierceable stopping member and a base plate supported by the stopping member in the container and provided with a medium in its surface.
CONSTITUTION: The port 11a of the container 11 is closed by the hermetic pierceable stopping member 12, e.g., rubber, etc. The base plate 13 forming the medium 14 on its surface is supported by the stopping member 12, the container 11 is decompressed, and the internal atmosphere is converted into an anaerobic atmosphere by carbon dioxide and nitrogen to make a cultivation tool.
