Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the initial setting time of the terminal machinery, i.e., the system restarting time of a switchboard, by using all time slots for voice in addition to the time slots for individual control to transfer of the control information at the time of a system initial setting. CONSTITUTION:A time slot series on a voice highway provided between a terminal machinery and a channel control device assumes one sampling period as one frame, and the number of time slots in the one frame is set at (m+n) pieces. In such case, (m) pieces of TS1-TSm are used as the time slots for voice and (n) pieces of TS(m+1)-TS(m+n) used as the time slots for transfer of control information respectively in a normal operation mode. A time switching set signal of the highway for voice is transmitted from the channel control device at the time of a system initial setting. Then the slots TS1-TSm are also used as transfer of information to ensure the (m+n)/n-times transfer capacity of control information compared with that of a normal operation mode.
