Abstract

PURPOSE: To recognize the working mode with no confusion, by performing a preset enable mode display for a digital display radio receiver or the like by blinking a display element for display of reception frequency.
CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 8 secures a synchronism for a segment signal S with a digit signal D to deliver the signal S and displays the reception frequency through a display element 1 via a segment driver circuit 2 and a digit driver circuit 3. In this case, the signal P2 of a pulse generating circuit 6 is set at H (high) level. The circuit 8 applies a signal P1 to the circuit 6 after discriminating that a key is pushed in a preset key group 7 by an output signal O and an input signal I, and thus produces a signal P2 having a prescribed pulse duration. This output P2 is supplied to the element 1 via an AND gate circuit 5 and the circuit 3, and thus the reception frequency under a display mode is blinked according to a prescribed pulse duration. When a presetting operation is through, the circuit 8 discontinues the generation of signal P1. Then the signal P2 is kept at H level, and the element 1 displays the reception frequency as usual.
