Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce the titled steel plate having a composite structure by a method wherein a steel plate is successively subjected to soaking at a temperature of not lower than Ac1 temperature, cooling at a spacified cooling rate and plating in a continuous hot dipping line, then it is reheated for an alloying treatment and cooled to a temperature of not higher than Ms temperature. CONSTITUTION:The hot rolled or cold rolled steel plate containing not more than 0.15% of C and 1.0-2.5% of (Mn+Cr) is treated in the continuous hot dipping line as follows: Firstly, the steel plate is soaked at the temperature of not lower than Ac1 but below 900 deg.C to austenitize the steel partly or entirely. Next, the steel plate thus soaked is cooled at an average cooling rate of not less than 5 deg.C/sec and is plated. Thereafter, the steel plate is reheated to a temperature at which pearlitic transformation does not takes place, namely, a temperature of not higher than 600 deg.C and is maintained at said temperature for alloying treatment. The steel plate thus treated is then cooled to a temperature of not higher than Ms temperature at a cooling rate of not less than 10 deg.C/sec to produce the objective high-strength zinc- plated steel plate excellent in workability.
