Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a wet type image of high quality free from any ground stains and free from image flow by forming a squeeze roller for removal of solvents by a mesh roller of hollow inside and a high-speed revolving roller of its inside. CONSTITUTION:The developer on the surface of a photoreceptor 2 is sent to a post treating device 7 portion in the state that the toner and a solvent are separated. The post treating device 7 consists of a mesh roller 7a of the hollow inside and a high-speed revolving roller 7b of its inside and the separated developer is contacted by the mesh roller 7a by its solvent surfaces, thus the solvent on these surface is wetted by the mesh and is removed from the surface of the photoreceptor 2. Thence, the solvent stuck on the mesh roller 7a is removed by the high-speed revolving roller 7b of the inside. This mesh roller 7a rotates in the direction preferably opposite from the rotating direction of the drum and is disposed at a distance of, for example, 30-100mum from the surface of the photoreceptor 2. Thereby, the wet type image of high image quality free from any image flow may be obtained.
