Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat pipe having a large heat transmitting capacity with a high heat conductivity by recirculating a condensation liquid in an inclined heat pipe to an evaporating section through a bypass tube in a solar heat collector or the like.
CONSTITUTION: Steam of a working liquid generated at an evaporating section 4 reaches a condensating section and liquefied by condensation, dissipating heat. The condensed liquid is recirculated to the evaporating section 4 through a bypass tube 7. This allows most of the condensed liquid recirculated to pass through the bypass tube 7 reducing the quantity passing through a wick 3, and steam of the working liquid is cooled in a less degree with the wick 3 thereby improving the heat transfer effect. Thus, a heat pipe with a large capacity for solar heat collectors or the like can be obtained at a high heat conductivity.
