Abstract

PURPOSE: To evade the risk of explosion of coal dust using a gas of a low oxygen concentration by dividing a combustion waste gas used for drying pulverized coals into two parts after dust removing, cooling and dehumidifying, and reusing one of said divided combustion waste gas for dilution and cooling of the combustion waste gas used for drying.
CONSTITUTION: A combustion waste gas obtained by burning carbononaceous fuel is mixed with a cooling gas in a hot wind generator 1 to generate hot wind of a temperature in the range of 400°W600°C and an oxygen concentration of less than 10%. The hot wind is supplied to a coal pulverizer and driver 2. The heated and dried, pulverized coal is separated from the combustion waste gas by a cyclone 3, and further residual pulverized coal within the combustion waste gas is dust arrested and separated by a bagfilter 4. The combustion waste gas which has left the bagfilter 4 is cooled and dehumidified by a cooler 5, and then a part of the waste gas is reused as a cooling gas in a hot air generator 1 by a pipeline l1, on one hand, and the residual part is supplied for sealing to a silo 6 by means of a pipeline l5, and supplied for transporting pulverized coal to a compressor 7 by pipeline l6 respectively.
