Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent counter current when the discharge side pressure is high by arranging a piston which separates from a valve element when the discharge side pressure exceeds a prescribed value, allowing the valve opening pressure to vary according to the discharge side pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A valve seat 4, valve element 5, piston 11, and a spring 14 are arranged in a housing 1, and the flow of fluid from an exit 3 to an inlet 2 is impeded by a check valve. The piston 11 separates from the valve element 5 when the discharge side pressure exceeds a prescribed value. Therefore, in the state where the piston 11 contacts with the valve element 5, the valve opening pressure varies according to the magnitude of the exit side pressure. In the state where the discharge side pressure is high and the piston 11 is separated from the valve element 5, if the pressures on the inlet side and the discharge side are reversed, the valve element 5 sits onto the valve seat instantly, and counterflow of fluid can be prevented.
