CONSTITUTION: Illuminators 14aW14c are provided by combining white light sources 10aW10c and a red, a green and a blue-purple filter 11W13. By the instruction from the input signal 34 obtained by color-decomposing a pattern to display, a dot 18 in each dot group 17aW17c is turned ON or OFF, for example, when a dot in a dot group 17a is turned ON, red rays from a light generator 14A radiate from a shutter 16 composed of liquid crystal display elements, and arrive at a drum 24 rotating in the direction of the arrow through a mirror 17, half mirrors 20, 21, and a condensing lens 23.
