Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a light emitting device which is controllable by either of a reflected light system or an incident light system or an incident light system by meansuring the preliminary emission of the flash emitting device, storing the time until the required quantity of irradiation light is attained and controlling the time at the regular light emission. CONSTITUTION:A flash emitting device body A and a separate photometric circuit part B are provided. In the part B, the time until the integration of the photometric output attains a predetermined level is converted to voltage and this voltage is stored, then the time lapse equal to this storage time is measured and a light emission stop signal is sent to the body A. In the body A, a switch for preliminary light emission to cause flash emission in the relation parallel to synchronizing contacts is provided, so that the correct light emission time is stored at the preliminary light emission of the body A by the photometric circuit part placed in the object position.
