Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the articulation of sound by setting the amplification degree of a vowel independently from that of a consonant. CONSTITUTION:Through filters F1, F2 and F3 having proper bands, an electric signal from microphone M is detected by detectors D1, D2 and D3, whose outputs are applied to comparators C1, C2 and C3. When a vowel enters microphone M, corresponding filters, detectors and comparators operate to open corresponding switches among S1-S3. When a consonant enters microphone M, on the other hand, outputs of comparatos C1-C3 are all at ''0'', so NAND circuit A outputs ''1'' to open analog switch SN, so that a signal which does not pass through any filter will appear at output 0.
