Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the rotation speed and the rotation angle with a high precision without the influence of the fitting precision, by writing the signal of a fixed frequency onto the magnetic disc, which is rotating in a constant speed, and by reading this signal, in the rotation speed detector. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic disc 3 connected to rotation axis 2 of motor 1 to be measured is rotated in a constant speed accurately by flywheel 5 driven by auxiliary motor 6, and the signal of a fixed frequency is written from oscillator 8 through amplifier 10 and switch 11 by magnetic head 4. Next, wheel 5 is disconnected, and the signal on disc 3 driven by motor 1 is read to obtain the DC voltage corresponding to the speed through amplifier 12 and F-V converter 9, thereby analyzing speed pulsation of motor 1 and correcting the speed detector. Reference position signal S2 is obtained by hole 14 and light receiver and transmitters 10 and 13 to detect the rotation angle. Since the magnetic recording density on disc 3 is made high easily and the fitting precision of the disc has no influence, the speed detection precision is improved.
