Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a change of engine rotary speed, by increasing the set value of a rack position when the change rate of a rack position command signal of an injection pump exceeds a prescribed value and moderating the limitation of ouput torque when load is rapidly applied. CONSTITUTION:To perform fuel control of a diesel engine 1, firstly by outputs of a throttle sensor 3 and rotary speed sensor 4 a control rack position command signal Eas of an injection pump 2 is obtained through a PID compensation circuit 33 or the like. While from a function generator 32 a rack position setting signal ELS corresponding to engine rotary speed is output along a preset torque curve of the engine. Here a change rate of the above described command signal Esa is detected by a differentiator 41, and if it exceeds a prescribed value a prescribed signal EO is added to the signal ELS for a certain time. A smaller one of the both signals Esa, ELS is output from a priority circuit 34 to control an acutator 20 on the basis of a deviation between said smaller signal and a signal of a control rack position detector 10.
