Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture various kinds of the heat-shrinkable tubes for connecting to the T-shaped ramification simply by a method wherein a main body part of an original pipe is inflated along the whole length of the pipe and a hole is provided at the side surface thereof while an end of the ramificating part is bonded at the part of this hole by heating and fusion-bonding it. CONSTITUTION:The original pipe 1 for the main body part and the original pipe 2 for the ramificating part are formed by extrusion and are crosslinked by utilizing polyorefin material, thereafter, the original pipe 1 for the main body is inflated along the whole length thereof and the hole is provided at the side surface thereof. The original pipe 2 for the ramificating part is inflated in accordance with necessity and the end part thereof is heated and bonded by fusion to the part of the hole at the side surface of the main body part to integralize it. According to this method, various sizes of the pipes for the main body part and the ramificated part can be combined in various combinations, therefore, plenty of products of the heat-shrinkable tubes for connecting to the T-shaped ramifications may be manufactured.
