Abstract

PURPOSE:To make peeling and damage hard to occur by improving the adhesion capability between a screen base and a photoconductive layer, by providing a thin layer, obtained by dispersing conductive particles in resin, between a conductive member as the screen base and a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of conductive member 2 of screen photoreceptor 1, conductive layer 5 is formed by dispersing conductive particles of metal, such as Ag and Cu, carbon, etc., in resin selected among cyclized butadiene rubber, polybutadiene, poly(vinyl acetate), ethylene-acryl copolymer, and saturated polyester resin. On layer 5, photoconductive layer 3 containing Se, CdS or poly(vinyl carbazole) is formed. On layer 3, insulating layer 4 of polystyrene, acryl resin, etc., is formed. Thus, the adhesion between member 2 and layer 3 is improved and screen photoreceptor 1 is made tolerant to the external forces of bending, snapping, etc., to improve the durability.
