Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a specified discharging volume of coating by a method wherein a volume of supply of coating to a spray gun is adjusted in response to a variation of viscosity of the coating with respect to a variation of temperature during a feeding of coating.
CONSTITUTION: Air fed from air supply source 1 is adjusted for its pressure by a regulator 2 and fed to a pressure feeding tank 5 through air hose 4. Coating 6 contained in the tank 5 is supplied to a spray gun 9 through a coating hose 8 under air pressure. Temperature sensitive pressure control device A arranged between the regulator 2 and the pressure feeding tank 5 is operated such that the needle valve 12 is lifted up in response to an increased temperature, resulting in making a clearance between the valve itself and the small hole 13. That is, a primary air pressure from the regulator 2 is fed to the chamber 16 through the air feeding hole 18 and then fed to the tank 5 as a secondary air pressure from the outlet port 19. Air flowed into the discharging chamber 17 through a clearance between the needle valve 12 and the small hole 13 is discharged to the surrounding air through the discharge hole 14. In response to the dischage operation, an air pressure adjusted according to a variation of temperature is fed to the tank 5 from the output port 19.
