Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate confirmation of time correction, by generating informing sound correspondingly to second count after second correction.

CONSTITUTION: When mode changeover switch S₃ is operated once to count up 6- notation counter 32 by one, AND gate 13 is opened through line (e) of decoder 33, and second counter 14 continues counting. When switch S₂ for correction operation is operated under this state, AND gates 42 and 43 to which gaining and losing decision signals (x) and (y) corresponding to the first half and the latter half of one minute dependent upon counter 14 are applied are opened through line (l) of decoder 33 by monostable multivibrator 35, and reset of counter 14, carry of minute counter 16, and so on are performed to correct the second. Meanwhile, signals (x) and (y) reset FF49 and open AND gate 50 through OR circuits 44 and 48 and so on, and informing sound is emitted at one second period according the second count after second correction by the 1Hz signal applied to gate 50, so that accurate time correction dependent upon correspondence between this informing sound and time signal sound of a telephone and so on can be confirmed.
