Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a nozzle from being clogged by a method wherein a thermomelting ink being in the solid state at room temperature and capable of melting at a specified temperature is melted by heating and jetted from the nozzle at the time of jetting the ink. CONSTITUTION:For example, in a method of jetting ink droplets 3 by pressure- vibrating the nozzle 2 with an ultrasonic vibrator 1, the thermo-melting ink 4 25pts.wt. of carbon black and 75pts.wt. of paraffin wax) being in the solid state and having a melting point of about 40 to about 60 deg.C is melted by a heating part 5 and is jetted. After the heating and pressure vibration are stopped, the ink is cooled naturally and is solidified in the nozzle 2. Even when the jetting and stopping operations are repeated, the ink 4 is not deteriorated and the nozzle 2 is prevented from being clogged.
