Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it easy to treat transfer paper jamming at a fixation part by making it possible to divide the main body into two and by enabling the fixation part to be separated into two parts across the carriage path of a transfer material when the main body is divided into two. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine is separated into upper unit 101 and lower unit 102 along the carriage path of transfer paper, and upper unit 101 is enabled to rotate on shaft 15; if a paper jam occurs, upper unit 101 is released to remove the transfer paper easily. In this case, a couple of upper and lower fixing device rollers 21 and 22 are provided to corresponding upper unit 101 and lower lower unit 102 separately, so that jamming paper can easily be ejected.
