Abstract
PURPOSE:To retain a pressure within a measuring cell constant and to raise a measuring cell constant and to raise a measuring accuracy by a method wherein a part of exhaust gas from a measuring cell is used as a drying gas and the residual part is released to the atmospheric air. CONSTITUTION:A sample gas S is sucked by a pump P3 and induced into a vapor phase dehumidifier 1 in a pressure applied state. The sample gas S which passes through the vapor phase dehumidifier 1 and a throttle valve V3 is supplied to a flow meter Q4 and a measuring cell of an analyzing part 2 keeping approximately an equal pressure of the atmospheric pressure and thereafter, it is exhausted from the measuring cell as an exhaust gas. A part of this exhaust gas passes through a passage L2 and it passes through the throttle valve V4 having its pressure reduced and retaining the reduced pressure state, the exhaust gas is returned to the vapor phase dehumidifier 1 to be used as a gas for drying and then, it is sucked through a pump P4 and is exhausted. The residual part of the exhaust gas passes through a passage L1, and is released to the atmospheric air. With this, the pressure within the measuring cell is retained approximately same as the atmospheric pressure.
