Abstract
PURPOSE:To analyze inorganic gas and lower hydrocarbon gas by one sampling in gas chromatograph analysis, by supplying an introduced sample to the detector after introducing a part of said sample into the trap column connected with a switching cock. CONSTITUTION:On occasion of analyzing a sample by gas chromatography, sample is injected from the sample injecting opening 4 and is transferred by the carrier gas supplied from the carrier gas supply passage 1 and made passed through the first column 8, six way cock 6, the second column 9 and the fourth column 15 and CO2 is measured by the detector 5. Next, the cock 6 is switched over and the sample is introduced into the detector 5 through the column 8, cock 6, the third columm 10 in which molecular sieve is used, and column 15. Then, O2, N2, CH4, CO are separated in the above order and are measured. Further, it is possible to analyze by suitably trapping the sample in the column 10 and eluting it from the column 10 at necessary time.
