Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a desalting property and a thermal efficiency by a method wherein a condensed water cooled by a cooling pipe is made to be a new condensed water of which temperature is slightly heated under its contact with an exhaust vapor from a water feed pump driving turbine, then deslated and deaired.
CONSTITUTION: Condensed water cooled by a group of cooling pipes 4 is uniformly dropped into the second hot well 11 via distributor plate 29 and tray 9, contacted with the discharged gas 23 from the water feeding pump driving steam turbine 21, then the discharged gas is cooled and condensed. Thus, the condensed water in the second hot well 11 is slightly heated. Then, the condensed water is flowed from a recirculation condensed water inlet 30 into the third hot well 26 via a desalting device 14, main air extractor 15 and circulated to the boiler by the pump 17. In this way, a temperature of the condensed water is increased under a contact between the condensed water cooled by the cooling pipe and the discharged gas from the water feeding pump driving steam turbine, resulting in improving a deairing and desalting operation as well as improving a thermal efficiency.
