Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the detection for the delicate analog element deterioration with the simple circuit constitution, by replacing the deterioration factor of the PCM end office equipment with the equivalent noise power. CONSTITUTION:The monitor PCM signal sent from reference level PCM pattern generating circuit 1 is multiplexed by received PCM signal 11 to be supplied to decoder 2. The PCM signal decoded by decoder 2 is delivered to receiving channel bus 12 and then supplied to analog returning circuit 5 with closure of receiving channel switch 4 to be held during one frame. On the other hand, transmitting channel switch 6 closes, and then the monitor PAM signal is sent to transmitting channel bus 13 to be coded by coder 8. This coded signal is supplied to error power integrating circuit 9. Circuit 9 measures the error power amount with the deviation given from the reference level PCM pattern of the monitor PCM signal used as the error input, and this power amount is supplied to threshold level detecting circuit 9-3. Thus the integrated amount is monitored.
