Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily form an obliquely wound toroid winding by projecting the small diameter end face of a megaphone-type ferrite core on which two split grooves and making its large end face form a concave. CONSTITUTION:An electron beam deflection yoke 1 in the cathode-ray tube of a television receiver set consists of a megaphone-type ferrite core which has a large diameter end face 9 and a small diameter end face 8. There are provided two axial split grooves 2 and 3 on its external surface. The small diameter end face 8 is axially projected between the vicinity of one and the other split grooves and the large diameter end face 9 axially becomes hollow between each of them. As a result, V type toroid winding can be performed and winding the facilitated without using a special jig which is mounted on a core 1.
