Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily measure volume value of mean red blood corpsucle by monitoring the count values at two points of the discrete levels of blood corpsucle counters. CONSTITUTION:The output of a detector 1 is sent to two threshold circuits 2, 3. The particle signal past the threshold circuit 2 is sent to a frequency-voltage converting circuit 4, from which the voltage corresponding to the number of particles per unit time is generated. The threshold voltage of the threshold circuit 3 is the output voltage of a saw-tooth voltage generating circuit 11, hence, the number of the pulses past the threshold circuit 3 decreases with time, and along with this, the output voltage of the circuit 5 decreases as well and when it decreases to the value of the voltage distributed by a distributor 6, a comparator 7 operates. By the operation of the comparator 7, a stop signal is sent to a counter circuit 8. The count value of the counter circuit 8 indicates the mean particle volume, and this value is displayed and printed in a display-printing device 9.
