Abstract
PURPOSE:To absorb differences between heights of parts and transport heat in one direction by a method wherein a heat pipe is formed whithin an extra fine glass fiber tube and thereby flexibility is given thereto. CONSTITUTION:One end 10 of a fiber clad is closed by melting there with flames 11, next, another end 12 thereof is connected to a change-over cock 13 for discharging air existing therein or filling working liquid thereinto, and the air in the fiber clad 1 is discharged by a vacuum pump 14 through the cock 13. Succeedingly, the cock 13 is switched to a side for filling the working liquid and the working liquid 5 is filled into the clad, then, a bulkhead 3 is formed by melting a part of the glass fiber clad 1 with the flames 11 when an predetermined vapor pressure is attained. This clad 1 is fed by a proper length and the operations of discharging, filling and melting are repeated, thereby, heat pipe cells 2 may be formed continuously.
