Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the time axis correction for the multi-track data in a simple constitution by absorbing the skew with the shift register and then counting the memory addresses via the common shift pulse to absorb the jitter and the wow- flutter each. CONSTITUTION:The skew of about + or -1 bit exists between reproduction signals o and m of the frame signal formed with the PCM pulses sent from tracks 5, 6 and others recorded and reproduced via the inline head. This skew is absorbed via the shift register featuring a small number of bits like 8 bits or the like such as parallel- serial registers 24, 29 and the like which are shifted by the common shift clock delivered from shift pulse generator 35 which gives no piling of the control pulses between serial-parallel shift registers 23/28 and counters 22/27. In the same way, the control is given to gates 8-10, address counters 11-13 plus memories 14-16 and 30-32 via the common shift pulse delivered from generator 35. Thus the jitter and the wow-flutter can be absorbed.
