Abstract
PURPOSE:To set a receiving band width to a prescribed width easily by constituting two elastic surface wave filters, which are formed on the same chip for filtering of composite frequency signals, in the preceding stage and the succeeding stage of the amplifier circuit for composite frequency signal amplification respectively in the receiving unit of the up converter system. CONSTITUTION:A received television signal is mixed 3 to a local oscillation signal to make a fixed-frequency composite frequency signal with the sum of both frequencies, and this composite frequency signal is applied to one filter 5A of two elastic surface wave filters formed on the same chip. The composite frequency signal taken out from filter 5A is amplified by 6 and is applied to the other filter 5B, and a composite frequency signal having a prescribed band characteristic is outputted from filter 5B. By this constitution, noise factor NF can be reduced in comparison with direct cascade connection of two elastic surface wave filters 5A and 5B.
