Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly economical flaw detector by installing the oblique oscillator, the transmission vertical oscillator which enters vertically, the reception vertical oscillator which reflects vertically, the delay circuit which is connected to the reception vertical oscillator and others.
CONSTITUTION: The ultrasonic flaw detector is constituted by providing the following component units: oblique oscillator 2 which puts in and reflects the ultrasonic wave obliquely to tested component 1; transmission vertical oscillator 3 which puts in the wave vertically; reception vertical oscillator 4 which reflects the wave vertically; delay circuit 12 which is connected oscillator 4: nonlinear limiter circuit 14 which is connected to circuit 12 and others. Thus the electric reception signal converted via oscillator 4 is delayed through delay circuit 12, turned into waveform d signal through circuit 14, piled on the signal of waveform c given from oscillator 2, and then changed into the signal of waveform e to reach transmitter/receiver 10 and then to be disolayed at the indication part.
