Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a voltage detection line extending to a load by providing a current detection circuit which detects the magnitude of a load current value supplied to the load and then by controlling a voltage value at the output terminal of a power supply according to the magnitude of the load current detected.
CONSTITUTION: Input AC voltage Ac is rectified by rectification part 2 of power unit 1 and the rectified voltage is applied to voltage stabilization part 3, which removes a ripple of the DC voltage before an adjustment of the DC voltage by a feedback signal from voltage control part 10. The output of this stabilization part 3 is applied to overvoltage-current protection circuit 4 and when an overcurrent flows, the output is held constant to supply the output of circuit 4 to load 9 via load current detection part 11. Then, detection part 11 detects the magnitude of the load current value and stabilization part 3 is controlled through control part 10 by the current value detected by correction-value setting circuit 12 and detection part to obtain V=V'+Ir providing that the prescribed voltage of the load input terminal, the voltage of the output terminal of unit 1, supply-system resistance, and load current are denoted by V', V, r, and I respectively.
