Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply a proper amount of electrolyte at all times wthout clogging a supply pipe, by supplying an electrolyte intermittently to an electrolyte-soaked body placed between the positive and negaive electrodes of a sensor by using an electromagnetic valve which coordinates with a timer.
CONSTITUTION: Electromagnetic valve 5 is provided at the midpoint of conduit 4 connecting head tank 1 and gas sensor 3. By operating electromagnetic valve 5 by timer 6 via delay relay 7, a proper amount of electrolyte in head tank 1 is supplied intermittently to an electrolyte-soaked body in sensor 3. Constant-flow pump 9 to be driven by motor 10 may be used instead of electromagnetic valve 5. This structure is particularly effective when a sensor is used at a high place.
