Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate variations of focusing magnification and optical path length in a scanning projector for slit scanning information on a flat surface to be scanned by using a deflector and projecting it on a light receptor by tilting a projecting optical system and moving a projecting lens system toward an optical axis direction.
CONSTITUTION: A reflecting mirror 12 and a lens 13 are rotated around a point Q as a center to slit scan information containing a point P on a surface 11 to be projected as the first plane through a reflecting mirror 12' and a projecting lens 13" to focus it on a plane containing a point P" on a photosensitive medium surface 14 as the second plane. Since the information on the surface 11 is focused in parallel with the surface 14 in this case, an angle ϕ formed between the surface of the mirror 12' and an optical axis g' of the projecting lens is first corrected. Then, the distance between the position of the lens and the rotating center Q is so corrected as to exist the point P" within the focusing surface of the lens 13'.
