Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain high-speed printing, by disposing a pair of magnetic pole faces of an electromagnet constituting core to define a sector-shaped space along the direction of movement of a lever member, and providing the level member with an armature facing said pair of magnetic pole faces of the core. CONSTITUTION:At an intermediate portion of lever member 2 made of non-magnetic, light material, there is provided a sector-shaped armature 5 constituting a portion of magnetic circuit. End faces 5a, 5b of the armature 5 are positioned to face respectively with magnetic pole faces 7a, 7b of core 7 constituting electromagnetic means 6. These magnetic pole faces 7a, 7b exert attractive force effective for driving armature 5 and density of magnetic flux is high since core 7 is formed integrally. Further, gaps 9, 10 can be set easily at a necessary minimal value. Therefore, it is enabled to increase attractive force acted to armature 5 and to increase speed of lever member 2 which pushes push rod 1 to be impacted to a hammer.
