Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate fine adjustment of mixing ratio between hot and cold water with a simple control, by fitting a movable plate sliding to a fixed plate having a hot water inlet, cold water inlet and mixed water outlet.
CONSTITUTION: A cartridge case 10 is fixed in a working chamber 1 to which a cover 9 is screwed in, and a stationary disc 23 made of ceramic plate is fixed in the case 10. A movable plate 26 is put on the stationary disc 23, its handle-like projection 27 being positioned in a valve guide 22. A fitting port 28 on the rear side of the movable plate 26 is engaged with the tip of a control lever 33 through a cylinder 30 of slider 29, and the lever 33 is connected with a cap 46 of a lever handle 44. The movable plate 26 has, on its surface in contact with the stationary disc 23, a concave passage 50 for communicating a hot water inlet 47 and either one or both of cold water inlets 48 with a mixed water outlet 49 on a position where the movable plates 26 opens a valve.
