Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain decorated plate of a transparent and deep-toned pattern like European tile by the procedure in which at least two different color-paint film layers are formed in a laminated manner and then a desirable printed pattern is formed on the paint film layer by a screen printing method, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a lauan plywood is given the undercoat layer 2 as a groundwork, dried, and then polished. Then, the surface of the undercoat layer is coated with a transparent colored synthetic resin paint having a visxosity of approx. 1000W20000cps and a great thixotropic property by a roll coater with an embossed pattern and dried to form the transparent colored paint film 3A. Furthermore, the surface of the paint film 3A is coated with a transparent colored synthetic resin paint of a color different from the foregoing transparent colored synthetic resin paint by the same coating method as the previous method to form the emboss-patterned transparent paint film 3B. After drying, a desired pattern 4 is printed on the paint film 3B by a screen printing method using a highly transparent ink having a viscosity of approx. 10000W25000cps. Thus, a colorful, unevenly surfaced, and transparent and deep-toned decorated plate tile can be obtained.
