Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize a structure by enclosing a stator winding in a limited space, for which a magnetic flux generated by a permanent magnet of a rotor works as an exciting magnetic flux through employing a commutatorless motor with a permanent magnet rotor.
CONSTITUTION: A stator 3 has projections, each of which has stator windings 7, 8, 9 wound round. A rotor 4 consists of a permanent magnet and is magnetized as illustrated. Then, the stator windings 7, 8, 9 are connected to collectors of three transistor T1, T2, T3. The transistors T1, T2, T3 are turned on/off properly according to a signal from a rotor position detection sensor 6, thus running a motor 1. Since a magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet of the rotor 4 works as an exciting magnetic flux for the motor 1, the stator windngs 7, 8, 9 are enclosed in a limited space, thereby miniaturizing the structure.
