Abstract
PURPOSE: An acaricide and fungicide for agriculture and gardening, having improved action to destroy mite and its nit with resistance, and an antimicrobial action on plant pathogenic fungi, harmless and nontoxic, consisting of a dithiazoleum salt as an active ingredient.
CONSTITUTION: An acaricide and fungicide consisting of 0.1W95wt%, preferably 0.5W90wt% of a dithiazoleum salt (e.g., a compound shown by the formula I) shown by the formula II (R1WR2 are 1W4C alkyl; X is Br) as an active ingredient. In application it can be directly diluted with water, blended with a diluent, e.g., a solvent, a filler, etc., an agricultural auxiliary, e.g., a surfactant, or made into various forms of an agricultural medicine by general method available in the field of its production. The acaricide and fungicide is sprayed or applied in the powdered or granulated form to mites and plant pathogenic fungi or their living places to destroy them. Having extrmely small toxicity to animals of mixed blood.
