Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent spilling of toner when faying of a toner discharge member and a toner conveying member in a conveying position is released by faying both in a discharge posture. CONSTITUTION:Toner images corresponding to light image patterns are formed on the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 by way of specified processes. In the case of removing image-making process members such as charger 4, cleaning unit 2 developing unit 3 at the periodic inspection, a pipe connector 8 is gripped and is rotated clockwise against its click action in such a manner that its end opening part faces upward. This causes the receiving tray 7b at the end of a conveying pipe 7 to disengage from a connector 8 and to be kicked up in the counterclockwise direction by a spring 7c to an evacuation position. As a result of this, falling of the toner from the faying part of the pipe 7 and unit 2 is obviated.
