Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance greatly dust-collecting effect by adding magnetic field to electric field in fluid and applying magnetic action to contaminated materials by multiplication effect. CONSTITUTION:High voltage electrodes 2 are arranged as the opposite electrodes against earthed plates 1 in a main body 3. Magnetic field-generating devices 4 are so arranged that magnetic line of force and electric line of force cross each other. Wnen the fluid is gas, the high voltage electrode wires 2 are generally used. When the fluid is liquid, high voltage electrode plates are used. permanent magnet and electromagnet are used as the magnetic field-generating devices 4. Precipitating direction, precipitating speed and the size of coarse aggregate can be controlled by adding the magnetic field to the electric field.
