Abstract

PURPOSE: To monitor the yarn binding and wedge loose degree of a vibration sensor at the end of the stator winding for a rotary electric machine during operation by mounting the vibration sensor at the end of the stator winding for indicating the vibrating states at every frequency component.
CONSTITUTION: Circumferential and radial vibration sensors 3 and 3' are, for example, mounted at the end 1 of the winding, and connected through vibrometers 9a, 9b, respectively to channels a, b, respectively of a vibration monitor 11. The output signal is applied to LPF 3a and BPF 4a1∼4a4 in the channel a, and through an RMS converter 5a to a digital indicator 8a as a vibration acceleration value and to an indicator 7a as the number of abnormal vibrations. The BPF picks up the vibration component in the frequency of the voltage multiplied by integer from a power supply and double integrated via an RMS converter 13 to thereby indicate the amplitude value on an indicator 15a. It is also similarly constructed in the channel b.
