Abstract

PURPOSE: To commonly use a pilot-start-up burner effectively, by using a common valve for adjusting the pressure and flow of a pilot burner and a start-up burner, and operating pressure control at the time of igniting and operating flow control at the time of start-up.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel oil from fuel tank 4 passes through strainer 5, fuel spray pump 6 and flowmeter 7 and then reaches start-up burner stop valve 11 via start-up flow control valve 10. Next, it is suplied to each pilot-start-up burner. When a burner is used in common for ignition and start-up, since it is necessary to control so as to maintain the pressure at a fixed value at the time of ignition, pressure control is operated by using pressure adjuster 14 provided at the outlet of adjustable valve 12. Manual loader 13 is also provided for adjusting the flow of fuel oil required at the time of start-up. These two different control methods are switched by electromagnetic valve 15. By this, it is possible to operate a combustion device with high efficiency.
