Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure an insert injection molding without shifting a metallic plate for insertion by setting the metallic plate with a hot-melt adhesive sticked on its back to a cavity. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 14 with a hot-melt adhesive 15 sticked on its back is adsorbed and set to a cavity 22 of opened mold 21. Molds 21, 29 are closed and a fused resin is injected to molding in the cavity from a sprue 28 through runner 31 and gate 32. After cooling the molds are opened, a molding is thrusted out with an ejector pin 33, attachments before the gate are removed, thus obtaining a product. The metallic plate for the product is good in binding property to the base metal and is ready straight for insert molding without providing a clearance between it and the mold unlike the conventional one for which double adhesion tape must be used. A close binding is therefore obtainable.
