Abstract
PURPOSE:To select the line automatically at the mobile station, by providing the transmitter of line designation signal delivery at the crossing point, in the communication system providing the mobile station moved along the first and second lines placed in crossing. CONSTITUTION:The mobile communication system consists of the leakage coaxial cables 15 to 18 forming the lines 10 and 11 respectively and the automatic selector 20 to automatically select the channel to the cross point CP. The unit 20 has the coupler 25 between the base station radio unit 21 of channel CH1 assigned to the line 10 and the CH1 designation signal transmitter 22, and the coupler 27 between the base radio unit 23 of CH2 assigned to the line 11 and the CH2 designation signal transmitter 24, and they are coupled to the lines 10 and 11 respectively via the couplers 26 and 28. The transmitters 22 and 24 performs frequency modulation for the carrier frequency of CH2 and CH1 with the CH designation signal and performs low level transmission from the radio units 21 and 22. When the mobile station moves from the line 11 to the line 10, FM receiver selects the mobile station to CH1 when the reception level from the transmitter 22 is greater than that from the radio unit 23.
