CONSTITUTION: In addition to the photometric element P103 which is provided to the lower side of the camera by being faced to the film plane and receives the subject light reflected by the film plane through photographic lens at the strobe photographing, a photometric element P102 is provided within the finder optical system to make the subject light receivable through the photographic lens at the observation. Also a display element P101 is provided. Then, at the test light emission, the capacitor C104 having been charged is subsequently discharged by closing of a switch SW101, the light emission of a discharge tube T101 is started, its strobe light is received in the photometric element P102, a dimming circuit A is operated, a luminous body B101 for dimming operation display flickers, a transistor Q103 goes ON, and the charging voltage of the capacitor C108 is applied to the display element P101 to light and display, whereby the presence of not of the quantity of light necessary for photographing is displayed.
