Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to generate a follow-up signal by means of simple constitution, by operating the scanning information which can be obtained by scanning the position information and the direction information of the moving body, and the moving path storing means.
CONSTITUTION: The scanning detection point S is set at a fixed distance l in the forward direction of the moving body 3. The position of co-ordinates (Xm, Ym) of the moving body 3 is displayed on the map 1 depending on the actual position of the moving body. The map 1 is used as the moving path recording means, and the path LN is displayed as a border line of black and white. When the scanning detection point S has detected the white part, and the black part, the moving body 3 is steered to the left, and to the right, respectively, by the signal which us generated in each case. As mentioned above, an accurate follow-up signal can be generated by comparatively simple constitution.
